EARTH DAY

When the whole world is sharing a pandemic, I thought it would be nice to share some of the beauty we’re “locked down” with, including the dragon’s breath sunset above.

Our friends George and Rosie from Berkeley also gave us some wonderful long lens photos of birds and kangaroos,  stars and sunsets.

And of course, that rare (now), but common (then) sighting of people hanging out together

.hanging out on the verandah with friends

What an amazing world.  Good night.stars

    1. Dear Fiona Hamer, Barbara Hamer and Craig Moritz,

As keen observers and environmentalists, we can definitely appreciate the wonders of nature, wildlife and landscapes more.

Indeed, Earth Day is so special and important that everyday is Earth Day because we are so dependent on Mother Earth and owe her everything.

I concur with Kyle Miller. Thank you for sharing and reminding us of this special day with the contents of your post. What a lovely way to celebrate it with the dragon’s breath sunset and other photos of birds and kangaroos!

This year, I have taken the opportunity to improve and update my expansive multimedia post about Earth Day at https://soundeagle.wordpress.com/2013/04/25/soundeagle-in-earth-day/

The said post is best viewed on a large screen of a desktop or laptop computer, since it could be too powerful and feature-rich for iPad, iPhone, tablet or other portable devices to handle properly or adequately. Please enjoy!

Happy July to all of you!
